The starting point of this work is a linoprint of the number 13 as a geometric pattern. The Tzolkin annual calendar of the Maya consists of thirteen moons as opposed to our twelve-mo(o)n(th) calendar. Whereas in the West thirteen is consi-dered an unlucky number, this number is sacred to the Maya.
