In ancient Egypt, heart scarabs were given to the dead as a protective amulet. These amulets were hidden between the bandages of the mummy at the height of the heart, where, according to the Egyptians, the spirit resided. This plastic scarab is based on this and contains two stamps: one with a scarab with sun disc between the legs and one with a Ka (soul) with sun disc.
